Friday           Book Characters Visit JME...Students bring favorite book character costumes to change into AFTER LUNCH to join in the parade. (Students MUST have the book to be in the parade)

Purple Horses Eat Oranges Constantly!

To understand the scientific method of Problem, Hypothesis, Experiment, Observations, and Conclusions we did a quick experiment. We put baking soda in water and added raisins.  Then we predicted (hypothesized) what the raisins would do when the "magic potion" (vinegar) was added.  We observed the raisins "DANCING" up and down!  We concluded that they did this because the soda and vinegar create bubbles, the bubbles lift the raisins up, when the bubbles pop, the raisins go back down again!!!   (Be patient while video loads, please!)
